Beneficial Owners Periodic Review
Effective October 1, 2024, Regulation 13 of the Beneficial Ownership Regulations, 2023 will come into effect. This regulation mandates that all entities in Seychelles conduct an annual review and verification of their beneficial owners. This review must be completed within three months before the anniversary of the entity's registration to ensure that all beneficial ownership information, such as passport and address details, is current.
Following the review, entities are required to keep a declaration of compliance at their resident agent office in Seychelles no later than one month from the anniversary date.
Note that this review does not exempt BOs from reporting any changes within 21 days, as per section 10(3) of the BO Act.
