Belize Company
Filing Accounting Records
The Belize government has implemented the Accounting Records Act No. 39 of 2023, requiring all foreign companies to maintain and file their accounting records for the past five years at their registered office, or since the year of incorporation if the company is less than five years old.
Failure to comply may result in fines of up to US$100,000. Additionally, agents must report non-compliance to the Belize government and may be required to resign from their duties.
